What's new in TenFourFox, the Mozilla browser for Power Macs.
Hi Cameron,Not a thorough test of 45.4 but 1 time the build worked and the others resulted in freezing my G5 1.8 DP system. Reverting back to 38.10.0 gave me stability I need to work. One footnote, my Leopard OS 10.5.8 has given me some problems over the years. But lost my installation disks an not going to buy replacements. So could be my funky OS and not your build.
I also have a 2003 model of G5 and mine's also finicky, even after a clean install of Leopard. I don't think Leopard is the problem though. Keep in mind that our G5 models were the ones with the chirping audio problem. Maybe it's a flaw in our hardware it's self?
Forgot to mention my G5 Mac is a 2001 1.8 DP model.
I think you're mistaken. In 2001 we still had the "flower power" iMac G3s and "quick silver" G4s. Yours will likely be a first-gen (2003) G5.
Correct. I actually have two 1.8 DP models - a 2003 and 2004.
All i have to say (again) is “Nice Work!” I got my 45 working fine in my G5 dual 2Ghz, except for the garbage management (a little slow).Planning a test on my Quicksilver V’ger (Tiger10411) for tomorrow.
